Susan G. Wynn, DVM, CVA, CVCH, RH(AHG) Veterinary Nutrition and Integrative Medicine Service Georgia Veterinary Specialists; Atlanta, Georgia Susan G. Wynn, DVM is a 1987 graduate of the University of Georgia’s College of Veterinary Medicine, completed an internship with Friendship Hospital for Animals in Washington DC in 1988, a post-doctoral fellowship in viral immunology with Emory University from 1993-1996 and a nutrition residency with University of Tennessee from 2007-2010. She is a former president of the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association, founder of the Veterinary Botanical Medical Association and has served on the board of directors for the American Academy of Veterinary Nutrition, the American Academy of Veterinary Acupuncture, and the Georgia Veterinary Medical Association. She is a consultant for the Veterinary Information Network. An internationally respected speaker in holistic veterinary medicine, Dr. Wynn authored or co-authored peer reviewed scientific papers as well as 4 professional level textbooks, including Veterinary Herbal Medicine (2007), Manual of Natural Veterinary Medicine: Science and Tradition (2003), Emerging Therapies: Herbal and Natural Medicine for Small Animals, and the seminal Complementary and Alternative Veterinary Medicine: Principles and Practice (1998). She is an adjunct faculty member with the University of Georgia’s College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Wynn is currently in private practice with Georgia Veterinary Specialists, in Sandy Springs, GA. |

Dr. Lea Stogdale, DVM, Diplomate ACVIM Lea passed the veterinary small animal internal medicine specialty board exams in 1981 to become a Diplomate in the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine. In Winnipeg, she has worked in emergency and pet practice for 25 years. Lea has taken a special interest in diabetes of dogs and cats, complementary medicine, and nutrition. Dr. Stogdale is an active member of various organizations: American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM), American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association (AHVMA), American Association of Veterinary Nutritionists (AAVN), Canadian Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA), and Manitoba Veterinary Medical Association (MVMA). Lea enjoys and cares for her clients and patients. Her interests also include her feline friends, photography, CBC Radio, reading, writing, skiing, canoeing, cycling, and travel. She loves living in Winnipeg, enjoying the cultural variety here. Currently, she is a member of the Board of Directors of the Manitoba Arts Council. |
