Pet food company will donate a pound of food for every pound sold in December
ST. LOUIS (Dec. 13, 2013) – Nature’s Variety, a St. Louis-based independent natural pet food company, is committed to improving the lives of pets in need. That is why throughout December, for every pound of Nature’s Variety food that is sold at select key retailers nationwide, the company is donating a pound of food to animal shelters and rescue groups in neighboring communities.
“Our Purpose as a company is to empower people to transform the lives of pets. By partnering with independent retailers to donate food in the communities where our customers live, we can have a greater impact on the lives of pets in need,” said Reed Howlett, chief executive of Nature’s Variety.
Participating independent retailers include Treats Unleashed in St. Louis; Wag N Wash in Denver; Natural Pawz in Houston; Chuck & Dons in Minneapolis; Poudre Feed in Denver; All The Best in Seattle; Bark Avenue in El Dorado Hills and Rocklin, Calif.; Alpha Nutrition in North Kingstown, RI; and One Stop Country Pet Supply in Brattleboro, Vt.
