Doug Knueven, D.V.M. Dr. Doug Knueven received his veterinary degree from Ohio State University in 1987. He is certified in Acupuncture, chiropractic and Chinese herbal medicine. Dr. Doug has authored two books, Stand by Me: A Holistic Handbook for Animals, Their People, and the Lives They Share Together and The Holistic Health Guide: Natural Care for the Whole Dog. His integrative practice near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania combines the best of alternative medicine, including natural nutrition and supplements, and conventional pet care. Susan Blake Davis, CCN Susan Blake Davis is a Certified Clinical Nutritionist who provides holistic health consultations to pet owners nationwide. She teaches her clients at “VCA Arroyo Animal Hospital” that their nutrition choices directly affect a pet’s unique health concerns. Susan is also the founder of Ariel Rescue, a charity dedicated to saving the lives of shelter dogs in impoverished areas. Susan Lauten, Ph.D. Dr. Susan Lauten graduated from Auburn University with a Master’s in Animal Nutrition before continuing her education at the Scott Ritchey Research Center at the College of Veterinary Medicine at Auburn University. She completed a PhD in Biomedical Sciences before starting her business, “Pet Nutrition Consulting.” Dr. Lauten currently teaches as Clinical Instructor in Nutrition at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine.
